Singer, songwriter meets HipHop; Folk mixes with Electro: Angela Aux gives itself the label “New Weird Bavaria“. Behind Angela Aux is Florian Kreier, the musician from Munich whose band L`egojazz already enriched the SPIELART night programme in 2009. This year, however, he performs solo: one computer, one guitar, thousand beautiful melodies.
The personable newcomer Dobré is the audience winner of the on3-Startrampe 2011 of the Bayerische Rundfunk. And it is highly deserved: On its Indy folk debut album DO THE DOBRÉ, the band with the exceptionally gifted singer and songwriter Johannes Dobroschke has combined songs of timeless beauty. During the SPIELART night programme, they prove that this is just the beginning and that their sound is actually at home on the stage.
